The ninth Senior Spotlight of 2020 is brought to you by Querbes & Nelson, and shines on tight end / deep snapper Elijah Boer. Primarily a blocker in Byrd’s run-based offense, Boer is an integral part of the offensive line. He’s also the deep snapper on punts and kicks.

The seventh Senior Spotlight is brought to you by Raymond James and shines on safety / kicker Brayden Hermes. Through two games, Hermes is the Purple Swarm Defense’s leading tackler with eight tackles, one tackle-for-loss, one pass breakup and one blocked kick. He’s also a perfect 9-for-9 on PATs this season.

The sixth Senior Spotlight is brought to you by Southern Components, Inc., and shines on wingback William Berry. Berry scored two touchdowns in Byrd’s 28-10 win over Haughton, including a career-high 60-yard scamper for the Jackets’ first touchdown.
