The third Senior Spotlight of 2020 is brought to you by the U.S. Air Force and shines on fullback Venzell Thompson. In Thursday’s 35-27 win over Calvary, Thompson rushed for 35 yards and two touchdowns. He was Byrd’s leading rusher in 2019 with 705 yards on 135 carries and five touchdowns. He’s also the punter for the Jackets and averaged 44.3 yards per punt in Thursday’s game.
