FAQs
- Why an App? We’ve found it challenging to keep up with so many different channels of information for any given school, and this app will collect and consolidate all of those channels into one thing to download and check. You don’t have to be a facebook user in order to see our facebook posts, and you can easily access our shared Google calendar without signing in.
- How much does the App cost? It’s free for everyone: Students, Parents, Caregivers, Faculty, Staff and Volunteers.
- Does it have to say Edlio? Unfortunately, yes. Due to recent changes with Apple’s App Store, this was the fastest way to launch a functioning app for this school year.
- What about the Byrd Blast email? We’ll continue to send out daily email blasts for at least a month or so to help transition everyone to the app. All of the information sent out in the email blast will also be available for reference at cebyrd.com, as well as in the App’s News Feed.
- If I download the app, how will I get notifications? The App will send out Push Notifications to your mobile device once you click “Allow” upon download. You can change how often you get push notifications under “Menu”
