Students – Step Forward is excited to announce that it is Teen Advisory Committee (TAC) student recruitment time. TAC is a regional youth-led group appointed to help improve local policy decision-making and programming that impacts teens and young adults in North Louisiana. Membership in TAC provides a valuable opportunity for teens to participate in the democratic process, interact with city leaders and impact important decisions. In a press release last May, Dr. Goree embraced Step Forward’s Teen Advisory Committees recommendations. Now, together we must begin the work to ensure that the TACs recommendations are a part of what is done in Caddo schools every day. Please direct your TAC questions to the attention of Carla Burgos at burgos@cfnla.org.
