Louisiana Tech Dual Enrollment applications are now available for students currently enrolled in the following courses: AP US History with Mrs. Rowe, English III Honors with Mrs. Waxham, English IV Enriched with Ms. Williams, and English IV GT. Students taking these courses during the second semester will enroll at a later date. Students can pick up application instructions from these teachers or in the Counseling Office. Students and parents must complete an online application at Louisiana Tech and submit the Course selection form and payment(s) to their counselor by 4pm on August 20. Students should complete the online application as early as possible, because there can be a 24 hour delay before their parents/counselors will receive the follow up link. Students and parents should use separate e-mail addresses (not a mycaddoschools e-mail address)and double check these e-mail addresses.

The design contest for this year’s Homecoming t-shirt is due by August 22nd. The theme is “Pop
the Patriots” so use your favorite pop star or pop song for inspiration! Designs must be submitted
to byrdstudentcouncil@gmail.com. Voting is August 25th and 26th.

2025-2026 Astra Club membership is open now – August 29th on local level. Everyone must signup and pay dues to be added to this year’s new Canvas Page for all communication and service opportunities. This year’s membership also includes a t-shirt.

Z Club will meet in the Learning Center on Wednesday, August 20, 4-4:30 pm and Thursday, August 21, 7:45-8:15 am. Go through the security checkpoint before entering the LC. ALL current members MUST ATTEND ONE of these meetings.
