Who would have thought that after all of our matches today we would be tied 7-7 with one match left…

Two freshmen, Olivia Ostendorff and Caroline Sample had no idea going into their match that it would decide the team winner of the match. By winning the match 8-4, our team beat Shreve by a total of 8 wins to 7.

Congrats to Byrd juniors that were recently accepted for the 2022-2023 school year: Caroline Hannigan, Elizabeth Klotzbach, and Chloe Miller. The Hicks SMART program through LSU Health Shreveport is a science and medicine academic research training program for academically advanced high school seniors interested in careers related to medicine, scientific research, and biomedical engineering.
