The Louisiana State University chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon is offering four, one-time scholarships in the amounts of $2000, $1000, $1000, and $1000 to incoming freshmen men for the 2026-2027 academic year. SigEp will award over $225,000 at 180 campuses across the country during the 2026-2027 academic year through the Balanced Man Scholarship to support our mission of Building Balanced Men. The men of the Louisiana Beta chapter strive to reward men who exemplify the qualities of a Sound Mind and a Sound Body, as we believe they are essential to leading a balanced life. Specifically, a Sigma Phi Epsilon balanced man is a leader, scholar, athlete, and a gentleman. To qualify for the Balanced Man Scholarship, you must submit an application by May 16, 2026, and enroll, full-time, at Louisiana State University, for the Fall 2026 term. Students can apply online at: https://lsu.sigep.org/bms/Applicants have no obligation to join or affiliate with SigEp to be eligible for the scholarship. The BMS application process is an outstanding way to meet other balanced men at LSU and aids young men as they prepare for one of their most important stages in life. This process also encourages applicants to evaluate themselves in each area of their own lives. Self-assessment fosters growth and maturity.
