Byrd Unplugged Tryouts with now be held Feb 9th and 10th in Room 116 from 4-5:30 pm. Voice, Music, Dance, Poetry,Comedy,Spoken Word, Rap, BeatBox, and more. All Acts are welcome.

There will be a mandatory JV Cheer tryout meeting Tuesday February 10th at 5:30pm in the learning center.

Upperclassmen Lyle Leaders have the opportunity to meet and work with local business, political and service leaders at a roundtable / luncheon event at the Shreveport Convention Center on Thurs. 2/19/26 from 8:30 – 1 pm. Permission forms for this unique opportunity are outside Rm s112 or in the Lyle Leaders Canvas class module for “sign ups and applications.” Please return permission forms to Ms. Waters or Mrs. Gardner by Wed 2/11/26. 

The next Youth and Government meeting will be Wednesday 2/11 at 7:40 AM in the Learning Center.

Students: There will be a mandatory meeting for the district literary rally on Wednesday (Feb. 11th) in S205 at 7:45am or 4:00pm. You will be given permission slips and more information about the rally at that time.
