Parents/Guardians: Our first official day of school is Thursday, August 8th. Juniors and Seniors are to report to the gym, Sophomores report to the cafeteria and Freshmen report to the auditorium. Official class schedules will be distributed from these locations. NO OTHER STUDENT SCHEDULE IS VALID. Breakfast will be served at 8:00 am. Other than breakfast, students should report to and remain in these locations. No IDs will be made before school on August 8th! The tardy bell rings each day at 8:30 am. Headphones, air pods, earbuds, and video games are prohibited on campus. Cell phones are to be turned off and placed in the student’s backpack and remain there until the school day ends at 3:56 pm. They may not be used between classes or at lunch. No hoodies will be allowed during the school year. We are looking forward to a fun and exciting school year.

Parking Spots – If you have purchased a parking pass or a reserved parking spot, please see the bookkeeper to pick it up. If you have not paid for your reserved spot, please do so as the deadline to purchase the reserved spot is TODAY!

There will be some dress code changes for the 24-25 school year:

  1. No hoodies will be allowed at school. This is for the entire year.
  2. When it’s cold, wear a coat. A knit cap will be permitted. It must be taken off when entering the building, and cannot be worn when it’s not cold.
  3. When it rains, it’s ok to wear a rain coat with a hood, but the rain coat will need to be removed when students enter the building.
  4. Body suits will be prohibited.
  5. Blankets are prohibited.
  6. Unsafe foot ware such as house shoes are prohibited

 

Students – All students are required to replace their ID’s this year.  If you come in and BRING YOUR OLD ID with you, we will make you a new ID for free. If you have lost your ID, you will have to pay $5.00 for a new one. All New Students will have to pay for an ID. Only 1 ID will be issued. The hours for you to get your IDs this week are Monday – Wednesday are 8:30 am – 11:30 am and 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Remember you must have cash and the exact amount.

 

At Home Academy’s next ACT prep course begins Sunday, August 18th. I have attached the class schedules if you could please share with students as you can. Back to School Dance – Hey Jackets! Mark your calendars for our Back to School Dance, Dancing Through The Decades, to be held Friday, August 16th. All classes, including incoming freshmen, are invited! Tickets will go on sale before school starts.

 

 

Students – if you are possibly interested in wrestling this year please let us know. Benefits: learn a skill for the rest of your life, get in the best shape, improve at all other sports!
