Ring StaffAny junior interested in serving on Ring Staff should come by and sign the clipboard oustide of either Mrs. Bolton’s room, S213, or Mrs. Cole’s room, S210, by TODAY. Ring staff will be selected by teacher recommendations after you sign up.

Astra Club – Tickets will be available online beginning TODAY.  Girls are encouraged to come in groups.  They do not have to have a date.  All tickets will be sold through Local Level Events.

Quiz Bowl is looking for new members! Old and new members need to look for flyers around school and join our Remind.

Stamp Collecting Club – Please stop at Room 204 to complete the Application and obtain your Club Card for our  Stamp  Collecting  Club.   We have no fee to join, and you do not have to be a stamp collector to join.

Z-Club – Z-Club is collecting school supplies now through Aug 26 in Room S206. If you are a Z-Club member, and are not receiving the Remind messages, please see Ms. Fox ASAP.

Students – There will be an ACT Boot Camp on October 1st from 9:00 until 12:00.  It will be held here in the Learning Center.  To reserve your spot, please call Sherri Moss at 318-572-5507.

Students – Email MProthro@caddoschools.org if you are interested in TAP Visual Arts, Music (instrumental or Vocal), or Drama.

Swim Team – Any student interested in joining the Byrd swim team, please see Mrs. Carberry in room 202 or email Coach Steve Carter at stephenrcarter@bellsouth.net. LHSAA forms and physicals need to be completed ASAP. The first meet against Magnet is September 6th at Town South Pool at 7:00 P.M.

StudentsAnyone interested in joining Spanish Club should pick up an application outside of room 117 or S304.

StudentsDo you like to grow plants, or want to learn how?  Do you want to have a positive impact on others? Then join Growing for Good.  Come by room S-105 to learn more and to pick up an application.

Seniors– Welcome to senior year! I am so excited to begin working with you and helping you with applications. We are not able to send transcripts just yet. First, we are working to ensure all students have an accurate schedule for the first day of school. After that, I will have to go through all transcripts so the gpa and ranking information is accurate for college applications. I will send out instructions for sending transcripts as soon as they are available. -Amanda Byrd
