However, with the Early Bird Scholarship deadline approaching (October 31), this would be a great opportunity to go ahead and apply at no cost to the student. The Early Bird Scholarship deadline is for students who meet the criteria for academic scholarships which is a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and at least a 20 on the ACT.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Astra Club Members – Since we are unable to host Community Christmas this year, all of the clubs are donating items to make holiday bags for 500 kindergarteners in our area.  Astra Club is going to donate holiday books for the bags.  These should be paperback books about snowmen, gingerbread, Rudolph, Santa, etc., that can be for a boy or a girl.  Please do not bring any books that are specifically for a girl or boy.  These are due by Monday, November 15, to Mrs. Prothro.  Each member is asked to bring 2 books.  Do not wrap or label them in any way.  Each book will count as one hour. Also, each member needs to come by Mrs. Prothro’s office, and vote how to spend our dues.  The forms will be in the green container on my desk.  Just complete it, and place it in the container for the completed forms.
